FEA

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a simulation program that can be used alongside traditional testing to analyze the strength of complex structures and systems, determine component behavior, and accurately predict how products will react under structural and thermal loads.

This FEA process allows us to stress test each HD, HD Off-Road, Fathom, Klassik Rader, & Remington® Off-Road Wheel under load in the computer to identify any problem areas or weak points in the wheel design. If weak areas are found initially, these areas can be corrected and re-tested before ever going into mold production thanks to the FEA testing computer program. See examples below of FEA program below.

ISO

All HD, HD Off-Road, Fathom, Klassik Rader, & Remington® Off-Road Wheels production factories operate on the ISO, the International Organization for Standardization. This certification promotes a global standardization for specifications and requirements for materials, products, procedures, formats, information and quality management. Certification under ISO standards is an assurance that the ISO-required management of processes and documentation is in place.

An ISO certification is not a license that permits an activity. It merely certifies that a management system, manufacturing process, service or documentation procedure has all the requirements for standardization and quality assurance.

SAE

All HD, HD Off-Road, Fathom, Klassik Rader, & Remington® Off-Road Wheel are tested to meet or exceed SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) J2530 testing standards.

JWL

All HD, HD Off-Road, Fathom, Klassik Rader, & Remington® Off-Road Wheels are built and tested to meet or exceed JWL testing standards. Japanese wheels must have a "JWL" logo on the wheel and "JWL" (Japan Light Wheel Alloy) is a compilation of standards defined by the Japanese Government to ensure the vehicle's safety for aluminum road wheels. Every wheel put to market must be tested to meet JWL standards before a wheel can be put out to market in Japan. These standards are generally accepted worldwide as acceptable for most road conditions. That is why you will see these marks on European and other Asian country wheels.

VIA

All HD, HD Off-Road, Fathom, Klassik Rader, & Remington® Off-Road Wheels are built and tested to meet or exceed VIA testing standards. Mark
A third-party entity called the Vehicle Inspection Association verifies whether a product meets the requirements prescribed by the JWL or JWL-T standard. This association permits a product to bear a VIA mark if it passes rigorous quality and strength verification tests conducted in accordance with the JWL or JWL-T standard.

DOT

All HD, HD Off-Road, Fathom, Klassik Rader, & Remington® Off-Road Wheels are tested to meet or exceed the United States DOT or National Highway Traffic Safety Administration standards for safe consumer use on public highways and motorways. This testing certifies and ensures that the wheel rim load rating is strong enough to meet and not exceed the GVWR of the vehicle said wheel rim is installed on.
