CONSTRUCTION
Perfectly Tight PCD Adjusting lug nuts and bolts have a separate, independent lug seat that snaps onto the main body of the lug body containing the 19mm hex removal head and threads.
With the lug seat being a separate part from the main body, it can then have the plus or minus 2mm back & forth adjustment range that PCD Adjusting nuts and bolts have.
Outlined in BLUE in the picture on the right, you can see the collar on the base of the main body ( top ) of the lug and the inverse collar inside the lug seat ( bottom ).
PCD Adjusting bolts are built and function the exact same way as the example nuts pictured on the left. Instead of the threads going in, they extend out for lug bolts.

FUNCTION
Once the independent lug seat is attached to the main body of the lug, it can then shift back and forth freely and adjust.
The upper surface of the lug seat is wide and flat. Once met with the bottom of the lug body, this are gives a solid foundation for the lug seat to shift back and forth against once torqued to the vehicle.
Example: 5x114.3 Vehicle with 5x112 Wheel - the adjusting lug seat will shift and sit in the 5x112 lug seats of the alloy wheel, and the threads will shift the opposite way and line up and tighten to the 5x114.3 studs.

INSTALLATION & SAFETY
It is HIGHLY recommended by Perfectly Tight that all PCD Adjusting lug nuts and bolts are tightened down by hand, then hand torqued to the vehicles recommended torque setting in the numbered star pattern order shown in the picture on the right.
Use of an air impact gun can damage the adjusting lug seat on the lug nut or bolt causing damage that may not be seen until it is too late.
Always follow your vehicle manufactures recommended torque settings when installing. It is also recommended that a re-torque is performed after 30 miles of use.
Hub Centric rings are also HIGHLY recommended when using PCD Adjusting lug nuts and bolts. Buy Hub Centric Rings - HERE
